Facilitated by experienced robotics students and led by parent volunteers, Holiday and After School Robotics are a great introduction for children aged 5-9 to our robotics programs.
After School Robotics
Embers Robotics run an after school robotics program on Tuesdays from 4pm-5pm each week at our workshop at Wollongong TAFE. Project Bucephalus run a Roboclub on Tuesday at the same locations, aimed at older, more experienced kids.
Embers run programs are open to all students aged 5-9. The classes cost $136 for an 8 lesson term or $17/lesson. All lessons utilise the Lego Education WeDo 2.0 kits and Spike Prime kits.
We also have some Spike Essential kits which our students are enjoying and some have been dabbling in Scratch programming.
Note: For Elonera Montessori School students the “walking wedo bus” is available for anyone who wishes to have their child collected from EMS OOSH and taken over to the TAFE for the class.
If you would like details about how to enrol, or how to catch the “bus” please contact us. Classes are limited in size.
Holiday Robotics
We run holiday programs at our TAFE workshop for students aged 5-9. Places are limited and do fill fast. We are looking at running a class on Thursday 19th Dec and Monday 13th January 2025. Please reach out if you are interested or would like any details.
